I applied for my passport, and things are starting to sink in that in four and a half months I will be leaving for Kenya. I'm so not looking forward to immunizations and the headache that is supposed to follow the yellow fever one. Challenges are beginning to show themselves regularly which further affirms that we are meant to go. I thought I wouldn't think of Kenya every single day until closer to us leaving. I couldn't have been any more WRONG! My heart is consumed with Kenya, my team and the way my heart is changing.
Well I'm totally stoked for you!! That is amazing. I started sponsoring a little boy in indonesia a while back and I can't get him out of my mind. I've thought about visiting him and/or joining a mission headed for indonesia quite a bit. I have added you to my prayer list, I'm on the edge on my seat waiting to hear about your journey and transformations. Whitney M.
ReplyDeleteWhitney, I'm stoked too! We sponsor a little girl from Vietnam through Holt International. Ususally when something is embedded in your mind, God placed that there for a reason. Just recently I had an earworm for an entire week. When I sat back and thought about the words, I realized God was speaking to me in a VERY specific way! I miss you, girl. I will pray for you as well. Who knows, you may be doing something in Indonesia soon.
